Raising the Bar of Legal Truth on TV

Raising the Bar

First episode was this past Monday on TNT.

Looked pretty good. Soap opera shows the insane, crooked side of the law. Probably be cancelled ASAP. They don't have the pilot posted for full download. Maybe later?

Just like J August Richard's ressurected character Gunn, transplanted attorney at law, from Joss Whedon's Angel, about a demonic Hollywood lawfirm infiltrated by good guys, assassinating secret-society hooligans like Hell-spawn Senator Hillary Clinton Blythe (Rockefeller), from Bilderbergers and Satanic Jewish Bohemian Grove (gay Bill's vacation home), er, Senator Brucker, member of Black Thorn secret society. Gunn killed the evil senator with an axe to head. Good show!

Queens, presidents, supreme court justices, generals, astronots, governors, mayors, Hollyowood stars and media moguls perform annual ritual human sacrifice to Satan at Jewish Bohemian Grove homosexual nudist compound in Full Monte Rio, California

Believer7: Am I the only one who liked this show?

I can't believe how many people complain, but I liked the show, maybe the people that is talking CR................ is because they are lawyers, and they don't want the public know the truth.

unbaker: Scarey Truth

I have always been a loyal Law and Order fan... But the most scarey part of it all is the unethical dealings that occur between the parties and how it risk a victims, defendants, and societies hope that they should have any faith in the Justice System at all. Thank God it is just a show!

Pilot showed a lawyer going to jail for contempt of court, for overzerous defense of a client.

In the real world, 99% of public defenders are paid by the govt to sell out their clients, as quasi prosecutors. My sister was a PD who won 1 case out of 1,000s, because the "guilty" client told her what to do. PDs' job is to do just good enough to ensure losing pro se appeals based on "ineffective assistance of counsel".

My dad was jailed for overzerous defense of a client, so he started carrying a writ of mandamous (habeus corpus?) with him in every courtroom. He previously sued the Bush Sr White House under the RICO Act during Iran-Contra, and is on the 9/11 Dream Team suing Bush Jr's Saudi partners in Carlyle Group. He had 2 guns put to his head during 2 class actions against police and their cop-killing mafia towing contractors, running cartheft rackets worldwide.

Contempt of court is a life sentence on death row, no trial, no bail, no appeal. My brother the lawyer was jailed 10 days in his divorce case pro se (without a lawyer), after he paid his lawyer $50,000 and could not afford to pay his ex wife's $100,000 legal bill. The divorce court judge was married 4 times and was a convicted deadbeat dad, who extorted $100,000 from my family for my brother's debt, and coerced him to sign a contract to give up his legal career, as condition for getting out of jail. So my brother ran against the judge in the next election. Hilarity ensured.

I've personally been thrown out of a courtroom for being a witness for a pro se, when the PD refused to defend a guy arrested on trespass for using a public restroom. That was a rush. The kid prosecutor threatened to have me arrested for "practicing law without a license", when most judges in USA are NOT licensed lawyers, never attended law college, and many cannot even read, according to NY Times. The essential elements were not there for either trespass or resisting arrest (which does not apply to private security guards in TN Code). PD eventually extorted him to plead guilty with time served, after rotting 10 days in jail, and dropped the resisting. Lame! The trespass arrest was a setup by disgruntled cops, in retaliation for him "winning" a precedent setting trial one day before in Knoxville City Court, proving that no person ever has to pay a traffic ticket, nor pay any other misdemeanor fine or court cost after LOSING in court, by filing an Affidavit of Indigency and claiming their Homestead Exemption. 50% of the US population can "win" every case using that strategy (being "collection proof"). Lot's of folks rot in jail or commit suicide because they can't afford to pay court costs, and don't know how to proceed "in forma pauperis". In Florida, "paupers" can own $10-million mansions without a mortgage.

That same PD office in Knoxville TN is now refusing all misdemeanor cases, "for lack of funds", and overzelous prosecution of restroom users, working dads and safe drivers. Meanwhile they enjoy their palatial new PD HQ (far far away from the riffraff in jail, er, their clients), and "arguing" cases in the palatial courthouse and torture dungeon on the river. PD clients in Tennessee must pay up to $500 for their "free" plea bargain, plus fines and court costs. Knox PDs are paid up to $800,000 per case for "court appointed lawyers". One million-dollar PD lawyer Herb Moncier was jailed for contempt and disbarred in fed court, as punishment for getting the entire Knox County Commission and sheriff fired for election fraud.

I've personally gotten an ALJ judge fired from Social Security Administration. Seems the fed court don't like remanding appeals, especially from pro se's, with the magistrate opinion saying: "The process used by ALJ in arriving at his decision that the plaintiff is not disabled is most troubling. The vocational specialist's comments to which the ALJ refers in his decision are largely indecipherable. The Court has absolutely no inkling of the qualificiations of the vocational specialist. It's beyond the pale of anything seen by this magistrate judge in any other Social Security appeal." Judge Davis went bye bye after that. SS lawyers were terrified of him, and now they want to read my court docs, to see how I did what they've never been able to do.

I'm currently reporting on the pro se Redflex robocop camera sniper trial, where the grand jury refused to indict, so undercover cops raided his home for posting a website. Turns out a COP is the real Redflex sniper, according to cops. Seems that cops don't like being replaced by robocops from a foreign nation. This series of cases has turned into a worldwide media circus.

As a result that same week:

I'd like to see TV admit that pro se's win some of the biggest trials, including Gideon vs Wainright (right to a lawyer), and Harbury vs United States, where Mrs Harbury pro se presented oral argument against US Solicitor-General Ted "Bundy" Olson in the US Supreme court, about CIA torturing Mr Harbury to death. In that case, Olson confessed: "It's easy to imagine an infinite number of situations where the government might legitimately give out false information. It's an unfortunate reality that the issuance of incomplete information and even misinformation by government may sometimes be perceived as necessary to protect vital interests." Mrs Ted Olson allegedly died on Flight 77 that allegedly hit the Pentagon on 9/11, "the most-defended building on Earth", but no video proved it. Where's your wife, Ted?

The only time I've seen a PD fight to win was when defending an alcoholic serial-killing mass-murdering drug-dealing CIA hitman with a false passport, er, "confidential informant" for US DEA. She was pregnant at the time, quite attractive. Her husband was a homicide prosecutor who told me to my face, "If I wanted to kill YOU, all I'd have to do is not let anybody see me do it, not tell anybody I did it, and hide the murder weapon"! When I appeared on TV to discuss that case with a family member of the victim, a murder contract was put on him, and I got a bullet hole in my car. After we got him his 2nd murder conviction, her husband went to work for the killer's regular law firm, the prosecutor was fired, the killer got paroled 3 years before his parole date, and the killer is now working in the prosecutor's office... Reality TV script

So Raising the Bar screenwriters ARE on target, except it's far worse than they can admit. As Mark Twain said, "Why shouldn't fact be stranger than fiction? Fiction HAS to make sense."

PS: I've got no interest in TNT's The Closer. RTB seems more real. I like the legal dictionary on the website. TNT Forums censored this post, just like they'll censor that show. Gotta keep the sheeple as stupid as possible, trusting psycho Big Brother all the way to the slaughterhouse.

I predict this series will get cancelled ASAP, for being a little too "realistic". Gotta sell the Police State to the sheeple, not wake em up in the slaughterhouse.

What you'll never see on COPS TV:

COP. 2. to steal; filch. 3. to buy (narcotics). 5b. to plead guilty to a lesser charge as a means of bargaining one's way out of standing trial for a more serious charge; plea-bargain.

Judge Raving Bitch Trudy Raising the Bar in Hell
UTK bumper stickers in Knoxville TN: Judge Raving Bitch Judy (Shindlein Jew)

Reminds me of my cousin, who may or may not be on the Tennessee Supreme Court. Funny how they don't sound the same on the phone as they do in person.

"My god! A judge was arrested for using a peterpump on himself in court?! During a murder trial?! It doesn't surprise me."
-My cousin, the state appellate court judge (CNN TV News,, Reuters, Judge suspected of masturbating in court, June 24, 2004 )

Judge Donald "Peterpump" Thompson

"A former judge convicted of exposing himself while presiding over jury trials by using a sexual device under his robe was sentenced Friday to four years in prison. Donald Thompson had spent almost 23 years on the bench and had served as a state legislator before retiring from the court in 2004. He showed no reaction when he was sentenced. At his trial this summer, his former court reporter, Lisa Foster, testified that she saw Thompson expose himself at least 15 times during trial between 2001 and 2003. Prosecutors said he also used a device known as a penis pump during at least four trials in the same period. Thompson, 59, was convicted last month of four felony courts of indecent exposure for incidents that took place in his Creek County courtroom. Thompson, a married father of three grown children, testified that the penis pump was given to him as a joke by a longtime hunting and fishing buddy. ``It wasn't something I was hiding,'' he said. He said he may have absentmindedly squeezed the pump's handle during court cases but never used it to masturbate. Foster told authorities that she saw Thompson use the device almost daily during the August 2003 murder trial of a man accused of shaking a toddler to death. A whooshing sound could be heard on Foster's audiotape of the trial. When jurors asked the judge about the sound, Thompson said he hadn't heard it but would listen for it. Police built a case against the judge after a police officer testifying in a 2003 murder trial saw a piece of plastic tubing disappear under Thompson's robe. During a lunch break, officers took photographs of the pump under the desk. Investigators later checked the carpet, Thompson's robes and the chair behind the bench and found semen, according to court records. Carmelia Brossett, a senior probation officer for the state Department of Corrections, said in a presentencing report that Thompson refused to undergo psychosexual testing. ``Thompson's denial of the offense would likely present difficulty, if not inability for treatment providers to provide meaningful and beneficial sex-offender treatment,'' she said. The jury recommended a sentence of one year in prison and a $10,000 fine on each count. The jury foreman has said it was the jury's intent that Thompson serve the full sentence. Judge C. Allen McCall denied a defense motion asking that Thompson be allowed to remain free pending an appeal. Thompson was also ordered to pay a $40,000 fine."
